I would do what I thought was best for the little puppy and if you can't devote the time she needs to her, there is likely someone out there who would just love a little Yorkie to fill their days and nights with love and fun. It is sad for a poor dog to have to spend endless boring hours alone and then not have its connection and interaction needs met well even in the evenings. But many dogs just sleep during the day while their owners are at work and then spend lots of interactive and fun family time evenings and weekends. Just because you have a job shouldn't preclude your having a dog and besides, you probably thought of that when deciding to get a pet so something else must be going on. Is there something else?
