I'm sorry that I didn't note that you are in Mexico. There are Yorkie show breeders in Mexico. If you have the chance to go to a dog show, you might be able to talk to them about where to get Chris Christensen or Madan grooming tools.

Otherwise, if you have a human beauty supply shop, I would look for a rat tail comb with a metal rat tail, and a really good metal comb. I find de-tangling easier with combs. It's easier on the dog too. Use a little corn starch applied dry to give the hair some "slip" an make it easier to undo knots. Work in small sections holding the hair with one hand to prevent tugging on the skin. Even if you use a slicker, you should always work in small sections.
