It's not as sticky as dove people gel. It has an amazing scent. It holds good except my dog rubs her head on the floor when she has a bow in. She has SUPER thin hair though. I put some in my poodles hair just to see how it does on thicker hair and it was amazing in his hair. I pray Crimsons topknot gets thick one day
