Probably has to do with teething. Some yorkies have stronger ears than others. If the hair on the ears gets too long, they get too heavy to stand up. We have to get Maggie's ears tipped so they will stand up. If it gets too long, they flop over. Ginger has one ear that stands up no matter what, and one that flops no matter what.
