Hi Amy and welcome to YT! We are happy you found us!! I'm so sorry to hear about JJ. Letting a puppy go is never easy even when their health is bad. I know as we had to do the same thing just after Christmas. You are right about how another pup can help heal the pain we feel as about a 1/2 months later, we brought Princess Sophie home. She's now 12 1/2 weeks old and the light of our lives. We also have Hansel a mini Schnauzer and caught them playing together for the first time just a few days ago. It has been a period of adjustment for all of us as I feel you might be in the same boat, so to speak!
So happy that you have added another baby to your family and wish you all the best of luck and health with him.
