I wash the sweet potato 1st, then bake it for about an hr on 400. Poke it w/a fork & it should slide in easily, if not, bake for another 5 mins or so, checking/ poking it every min. You can also slice it in half & it will bake faster. 1 will last a long time, I keep it in the fridge for 1 week. I give them about a teaspoonful. It also helps bulk things up since it's packed w/fiber. They also like it when I use it as a topper for kibble. They LOVE it!
