FYI, a little more information on the Wellness recalls.
From my own research, there have been 2 recalls of Wellness foods in the last 2 years.
In October 2012, a single batch of Super5 adult food was recalled due to a quality control issue of too much moisture in the dry formula, causing it to spoil after a shorter time.
In May 12, Wellness recalled products made in Diamond Food's Gaston, SC plant (the salmonella factory), although all products sold under the brand tested negative. Wellness also announced in August (?) that they have severed all ties with Diamond Foods.
I would have no reservations feeding a Wellness product, and it was actually my first choice. Unfortunately, my picky eater turned up his nose at it for a solid week and I gave up.
