My 10 month old just had her spay and some puppy teeth removed yesterday. She was out of it last night but this morning seems to be almost back to herself. I don't have any kind of cone on her to keep from licking her incision but right now she doesn't show any interest in licking. I agree with above advice, make sure vet does preliminary bloodwork. I was surprised that some vets don't do any type of bloodwork before surgery.
