I keep Gracie's coat long for the most part so I use the clippers for her ears and feet mostly. I do trim her length with regular hair cutting scissors. I also use the scissors to taper down the hair on her legs. I have been using a small set of Wahl clippers but I heard so many good things about the Peanut clipper I have decided to order some.
If you want to use scissors for her length then try cutting just a small amount at a time at first. I took Gracie to the groomer when we were doing a major cut down. I wasn't confident that I could make it look right but if you are skilled with the scissors then you should be able to do a good job with it. |
