Buster was a grade 3/4 on both his back legs. He was only limping on one so his Orthopedic Surgeon only operated on that leg and said to wait until the other caused him issues. Two years later we have still not had the 2nd knee done. With a grade 2 I would definitely consult with an Orthopedic Surgeon for their opinion. I always prefer to have a specialist for any big procedure as they have more experience and these babies bones are so small and I always worry about anesthesia so better the Board Certified Specialist. Buster did great with the surgery, anesthesia, and recovery.
