Why do you want to get a big breed? The problem with getting a big breed is you are going to have to work non stop to train the bigger breed to live with your Yorkie. I know a lot of people that have big breeds and small breeds and it works, but it is a lot of work. Esp with a breed like the Shiba. Love that breed, but I wouldn't recommend them with a smaller breed- Now if you said Boxer, Golden or Lab I would be Ok with it. However those breeds as well are still big, lots of power and they will needs training to. I wouldn't recommend leaving (Shibu and Ariel) them alone, play time will have to be watched as well… What makes you want a Shibu?
