I do all 5 of mine. Each one has their own unique style that looks best.
I use good ceramic clippers with the right size guard for the lenght I want. Tiny scissors around the rear, eyes and ears. I use a tiny mustache/eyebrow shaver for ear backs, be careful you can slice off a piece of skin by the edge of the ear. I shave ears with the way the hair grows dry, then trim the edges with tiny scissors when the hair is wet. I also use Scissors to trim around tummy and boy stuff. Westie cuts are blunt cut on the guide line and short clip on the back saddle area.
