I use human pantene conditioner with bath after shampoo. The spray i use for touch up brushings between baths, like when they have vomit face smell or just "I've been outside and I'm stinky" . I spray it on the brush, then brush him out. Of course he runs when he smells it because he knows it is brush time...the chase is on...
