The wipes to do a wipe down between baths does absolutely nothing for them. They are kept in a short cut. Is it really harmful to bath them once a week??
If you bath them more than once a week be sure and use a conditioner, you don't want to dry out their skin. Sometimes, I just bath them with the conditioner only, Ralphie gets all sorts of things in his leg hair after we go to the park, and it's easier to just squirt conditioner on it and rinse it all out, rather than pick it out. I think wipes are more for faces or pee areas, not for the body. I've been told by several good breeders that the worst thing for growing coat is dirty hair, dirty hair is much more likely to break for some reason, and I know several good breeders who bath their show dogs twice a week, but they also are careful to use conditioners. Don't think conditioners are just for the hair, they also condition the skin and keep it healthy.
