Default basket cover

I decided to give this pattern a try. It worked well on smaller baskets like Michaels (sorry forgot to take a picture), but the basket at Sams and Target are quite large and my cover was a little too stretched. I'm going to take a second try and make the part where MooMoo sits a little larger and the ruffle that covers the handles larger as well. Oh and of course one that is not pink per daddy's instructions. Has anyone made one of these? I used cotton for the sitting part and (kinda) quilted it with one layer cotton batting and one layer fiber type batting. I used soft fleece for the outside and ruffle, also used the batting. Any suggestions to improve the design or material choices? I think I will also try quilting cotton for the outside and ruffle so it won't be so warm come spring and summer.
