Oh, I'll have to pass the microwave tip on to my mom. She lives in NC and her little Sophie is always cold.
I was just giving my guys baths today so a grooming tip is fresh in my mind. After bathing while the conditioner is setting I take a flea comb to comb the goo out of their eyes. Them I spray the mustache with CC Ice on Ice and comb through really good with the flea comb. Sugar's hair is too thick so I use a fine tooth comb on him. This makes sure there is no goo or food debris left and the Ice on Ice helps keep new stuff from sticking and makes their mustaches lay nicer. Just make sure you cover the eyes and nose really well. I cover one eye and nose and do one side, then the same on the other.
