I emailed the Humane Society last night and they called me this morning that the owner called and described her collar. I told HHS to give them my number. They called and described everything about her to me.
MJ just got picked up by her family! I am so happy.
They are SO happy! We both cried. Even MJ cried. I haven't seen her that happy before. I cooed to her that we ARE going to find your mommy and daddy...and we did. They had her since 2003. She is 10 years old. Her name is MJ because at that time Spider Man was popular and it's what the kids named her.
They were staying over night at the Disney Aulani because they were having renovations done when the bad plumber let her out of her "safe" area and they were going in and out of the house. They left the door open and she got out! She just started to have cataracts so we assume she couldn't find her way home. They also said God put her in my hands so she could be safe and she also got a wonderful staycation.
I'm just so ecstatic. I was also surprised that they brought pastries and a gift card. I told them it was not necessary but they insisted and was so greatful to have their MJ back.
This is a great day!
