Don't have a link on it. Talked to my vet about it when I was concerned about her not drinking. Have found it to be true according to how much she drinks. She pees large amount of clear urine when she is drinking as she should. Small spots of darker yellow urine when she hardly touches the water.
I use white disposable pee pads so it is quite evident. Our vet was quite adamant about getting her to drink more. As long as I make sure she is getting plenty of fresh clean water she is good about it. The ice cubes in the summer help a lot.
