Lol honestly Jacqui im sure the dish you were talking about is way more flavorful...lutefisk is a scandanavian dish...dried cod soaked in lye...sounds gross..I just remember my mom soaks it for a certain amount of time in water to thaw it and then bakes it...if you soak it too long no flavor...if you bake it too long it turns to jelly. Very few people like it just mainly old timers of scandanavian descent....my mom makes it for thanksgiving christmas easter and I always have to have a bit w melted butter...
