The YTCA recommends staying with the breeder for 12 weeks because inhibition of the biting reflex is one of the things mama and littermates teach pups. If Lola hasn't learned this already, she'll need to learn it from you! Puppies are teething and so they want to chew on everything including your hands, but it's important to teach them not to bite. There are many methods suggested for teaching pups not to bite; I really like the methods used in this video.
