My little Rowdy (one year old) does not have a stubborn or obstinate bone in his body. He is as sweet as pie and he loves everyone, all dogs and people. He is BY FAR the sweetest dog I have even seen. He is extremely loving and gives lots of kisses, but he does not like to be cuddled close for very long periods of time. He will stand on my lap and put his paws on my chest and give me kisses kisses kisses. Then he will let me give him a quick hug, but if I try to hold him close for very long he pushes away. He will let me carry him all day though, if I want.
He is just the best little boy I have ever seen. He minds me, he doesn't chew, he doesn't bark very much (except at the black lab next door) - I just don't know how he could be any better - except maybe if he let me hold him close and cuddle him longer!
My only real problem is that he doesn't care a whit about food, so it is hard to teach him commands because he won't eat the treats!!!
