The itching continued and she was miserable. Before she started itching and breaking out, she had a pretty, shiny, healthy coat that had to be cut off bc of her condition. After going through all of this for over a year and keeping her hair very short we tried the coconut oil and she stopped itching and the sores went away.

I'm filing this info away for future reference and to pass along to anyone that has a dog with this history of itching.
