I think the "stay" or "sit/stay" command is very important to teach, and they catch on quickly bc they learn they get a treat for doing absolutely nothing. LOL. Make sure you don't have them stay and them call them to you for the reward. You should tell them to sit/stay and walk away and then come back and give them the treat. Stay also works as "freeze" for us too.

Also "leave it" for when they pick up something they should have. Leave it or drop it. Very important to teach this one. If they have something in their mouth, there's no way you can catch up to a dog running with a no no in its mouth.
