I would not advise taking an unvaccinated puppy for walks...buthe does need exercise and he needs to be part of the action, not just watching the world go by from his playpen. When you and hubby are motoring around the house, maybe you can incorporate him into your activity. Babies this young tire easily and after a couple of hours of activity and play, he will be ready to go down for his nap! He just wants to be next to his people....not separated from what they are doing! Normally, he would still be with his momma and littermates, playing and learning things that make him a great dog when he grows up....YOU are now his "momma and littermates" and you are going to have to devote a lot of touchie/feelie time to him so he is secure and confident.....and learning what is acceptable and what isnt. |
