I have a puppy and she loves attention.
I know you are gone a fair amount of the day. Your puppy needs be able to play, go for walks and needs some quality time with their family. It sounds lonely! I tend to probably spend a lot of time playing, holding, grooming and just cuddling with my puppy! Yes, she is spoiled!
I just think your puppy is not getting enough attention from the family. Yorkies love to be with people! Maybe some one could come in during the day and play or wake her a couple times. Just a suggestion.....
