I have wondered for a long time and could never learn who actually made the brand name Best bully sticks, and it sounds like it's Kasel industries. They also make Boots & Barkley, which is the Target brand and they've had lots of recalls on their edible chews.

It sounds like you are right. I was under the impression BBS manufactured their own goods. I'm actively watching their Facebook page as they claim to be making an announcement shortly.
