I am so sorry Linda.......I was just getting back here to check on Sunny D....I just knew he was doing so well with his PEG and I was checking on how your feedings were going....Bless his little warrior heart! One thing is for certain, there was no stone left unturned, no vet visit not made, no treatment left unexplored, in the care you gave this baby. Immediate, thorough, and carried completely through to the end....you did absolutely everything and anything that could have possibly been done for him...including having the strength and commitment to let him go when his race was over. Job well done, Linda....I can just see him, exactly like I see in that picture you posted, running and crouching down, toy in his mouth or under his protective paw, daring someone to just try to get it from him....he springs up and takes off like the wind, toy in his mouth, wind in his hair, running circles around and around...he waits for you to stop and get him some day when your race is run.
