No, I have never heard of such a thing. Pancreatitis is painful...of course if he is better and it is ok to eat but he is not, then I suppose it would be ok.

My 12+ yorkie was recently hospitalized for pancreatitis...he was in ICU. Here is a thread with information about him:

If this was pancreatitis, the treatment would be IV fluids in most cases, pain meds and they usually withhold food for the first day at least.

Seems like this has gone on for days with your pup, so perhaps he is past the danger point.
