I have read that some people here on YT do, however I just put in a tsp and each of my girls line right up for it like I am the ice cream wagon on a hot July day. They love it and their breath smells great. Also, I have noticed that their coat is shinier. Again if it wasn't for YT I probably would have never heard about the use of coconut oil and dogs. I would start out with a very small amount according to their weight and adjust as tolerated. You might want to discuss this with your vet too.
