That is really a tough call. There are a lot of pros and cons to think about. I think if I would have had a Yorkster with me at college, it could have actually helped me to study and concentrate in some respects. You cant party too much with the responsibility, and they are of course great company when you are studying. But you have to have the money to afford not only the food but medical expenses. And like a previous posted noted, they can bark a lot and that can turn roommates against you and your Yorkie. ALso if you end up in an apartment, the noise can get the neighbors upset too. I agree if you have the money, and know that you have responsible roommates who are also dog lovers it can work out. But if you dont have all that worked out yet maybe you should figure out your living situation and then bring Henri. |
