Not sure what you mean by decorate, but I put food and water bowls in his pen along with a bed and blanket. The floor of his pen was covered in a thick vinyl I got from Joann’s. At first I used several pee pads, so he really couldn’t make a mistake, and later I only used one. Of course I had several toys in there as well. It was really nice, but after long, he wanted to be with me all the time.
