As others stated I would go to an orthopedist. My girl fell and broke her leg and my regular vet (no longer my vet
) stuck a cast on her and sent her home. 5 weeks later nothing had changed. They offered amputation , I tore it out of there and went to a specialist and 3400.00 later and plate surgery she is now on rest for another 6 weeks because she should have had surgery to begin with, which would have been much more simple surgery had we not waited for 5.5 weeks...
