The bulb on the end of the ET tube is standard on all ET tubes used for humans and is deflated prior to removal to prevent damage. The amount of air in the cuff is also carefully regulated and is measured with a pressure regulator. One note, uncuffed tubes are used for small children due to a normal narrowing of the cricoid in children. I don't know if dogs have this, hence the cuffed tube, I guess.
