Bambi is a whopping 5.9lbs and Dotti is 3.9lbs both about 8inches in length and I tend to buy newborn sizes. These hoodies are comfortable on Bambi, a little roomy on Dotti but better that than too tight! I like to leave clothes the same size so either can wear them.
