Please indulge me, I am so excited about these labs when the vet called me I was crying I was so happy. Charlie as you may/may not know was dx with MVD last July, he cant be surgically fixed so we use diet (Royal Canin Hepatic and veggies and pasta) He take 1ml of Flagyl twice daily and 1ml of Lactulose every 8 hours and 1 prilosec daily. Charlie has surgery for Uric stones in July which is only found in yorkies with shunting problems, this why we use the lactulose so often we are trying to prevent them from coming back.
ok ok so we had to do his labs to see how were were standing since July and I know many of you have been praying for Charlie to have good labs IT WORKED!!! thank you so much for your prayers. So here are labs from July last year and the labs we got today

We will repeat urine in 1 month to recheck PH the vet says that since Charlie didnt drink much the nite before that the urine may have been very concentrated but that because the rest of the urine result were so awesome she had no worries about this. she says that if it was this level all the time we would have found crystals and blood in the urine and he had NONE. Im so happy!!!!!!!!
