There are several good puppy formulas from good companies. You can also go with an all life stages food with small kibble. We used Nature's Variety Prairie foods when our dogs were puppies. They now make puppy formulas too. We feed Horizon Legacy and Fromm now. They have puppy formulas too and are very good foods and very good companies. You can also look into Acana. Blue Buffalo is decent food and has puppy formulas. My son swears by Blue Buffalo for his dogs.
