Jack had a good night, but he seems a little spacy this morning. He's supposed to wear a pain patch until Monday, but the doctor said I can remove it if he seems spacy. Hmm, what to do, what to do. Remove it and risk more pain or see if he perks him up. He does have meds too.

And vcabbyw, Eddie seems to be giving Jack a little space. I think he knows the little guy is hurting. He's every present when I'm petting Jack, but he's not too pushy for attention. As long as he gets his walks and Yummy Chummies, I think he's OK.

Did you ask the doctor is you could cut the patch in half or something? Maybe that would help with the pain and not make him so spacey??
