 re-train poop question
My yorkie is confined to a crate for the next 5 weeks (1 week down from 6 tommorow) anyway during the day I put her in a small cage because she feels good and wants to jump around which is a nono. We have a puppy apt so every couple hours I take her out put her on the potty side and she goes pee no problem. (sometimes she soils the smaller crate, just did while I was typing this) At night we put her in the bigger side with her bed and ample potty pad space so if she has to go she can. She pees on the pee pad but it seems as though her new thing is going poo in her bed and hiding it under her blankets. It seems she poos every day around 530am ish. So what if I beat her to the punch and get up and put her in the potty side, say go poo and then give her a treat and back to bed? Eventually I can open the doors so she can go on her own but she just jumps around to much and she has a plate in her leg. This just started and i figure she is acting out. Ideas??? |
