I don't listen to anyone either, I don't even care about the clubs or papers etc., however; as witnessed by you and many of us other folks here, time and time again the average owner does not have the tools to care for a 6, 7, 8, 9...week old Yorkie who is compromised and their owners are here looking for help, how many times have we seen a pup die? You, me, Taylor, Ellie Mae, Nancy and many others could handle and care for a pup that is this age, but even then if its compromised we only have a 50/50 chance of pulling it through...this is why the 12wk rule should follow, we all know a well developed 12 wk old Yorkie is a safer bet, given the totality of the circumstances.
