Ideally, it should be something smaller than a chicken. Like quail. But if they don't have anything like that then the wing tip and forearm, not the whole wing (the upper arm/big thick part that connects to the body) is too thick for a puppy of Pooky's size.
Do you have any quail or quail sized chicken you can get a hold of?
