I am so afraid she will fight me if i put a bag on her an pull back injuring her plate. She fights me with medicine and even coming out of her smaller crate because shes scared. She just peed in her small crate so even more stinky.. Dog barks after she pees!! I have to put her in the bigger crate that has room for her bed and pee pad. She seems to know enough to stand with that leg up in the air. The surgeon told me she can be in one big enough for bed water/food and pee pad. I was just nervous that she would stand on it too much..the one in the hospital was bigger than the one shes in now. I lined it with a rubber mat to make it oft in case she decides to put her paws up on the wall. (whcih she does now and again but doesnt come down on that leg thank goodness) |
Oh poor little thing, I know they don't like to have the urine smell on them either. Does she have a long coat? I was wondering if you could put it in bands like some breeders do when the female is about to give birth?
