I've been researching puppy food for days. My yorkie is coming home on Wednesday & today I'm going shopping for my new baby! The breeder suggested Purina Pro Plan Toy Breed Formula. She says she's been using this brand for years & hasn't had any problems.

However, I am not impressed by the ingredients at all. I'm considering switching to a brand like Blue Buffalo or Wellness. I really don't want to harm my new puppy, so what should I do? Also, I'm worried my new puppy won't eat if I switch up his food. What is the best way to transition to a new food?

I'm very concerned. I really want to keep him healthy!
