I would definitely steer clear of the areas where the stitches are. But perhaps for the other areas, get some quick rinse baby shampoo, a washcloth, and 2 bowls of water. Spot shampoo and rinse various areas individually. Just take it slow and be extremely careful to not go anywhere near the area of the stitches.
