 Looks like 5 pups
Hi again - thank you everyone for your words of encouragement and for not being clear in my first post - but with that behind us.....I told Zoey to the vey yesterday for an ultrasound we are about 95% sure there are 5 pups - My vet said 4-5 on her records but we looked together at the ultrasound for around 45 minutes or so and I would bet the farm on it - there was a 5th. The big question became - right up by her rib cage - one of the pups were lying with its side to us and when it moved - just for a second the vet and I thought we saw another sac behind it. By the time you get 5 pups in there - it was pretty full. My vet is going to come to the house when Zoey is having her pups to check her and make sure things are going alright. We don't want to move her unless there was an emergency c-section so that we don't stress the little mama. Her delivery window in that end of February/beginning of March. I witness the coupling on both the 1st and 3rd of January. I will post some pictures soon - my kids broke my camera last week so I have to get to the store and purchase another one.
