Vets and techs do know quite a bit about breed behavior. They are the ones getting their fingers bit by untrained dogs.
I have never heard a vet refer out to a breed club. They recommend trainers. If that approach does not work they send the dog to a veterinary behaviorist. |
I was told that by Callie's old vet. When she was a pup. Hypo is scary though when Callie was having the issues as an adult after I handled it I had an omg freak out but then again I do that after I take a tick off so maybe its me.
