Remember that a reputable breeder does not sell her pups to a third party to place in someone’s home. A reputable breeder cares about where her dogs are going and will insist on meeting you. If the breeder will ship you the dogs without meeting you, she's just another backyard breeder. That are many reasons for choosing a reputable breeder, you are more likely to get a healthy dog and this can be a HUGE cost saver over time, and you will be less likely to write a thread, "Is my dog a Yorkie?"
