I am feeding Sam the SD small breed puppy food also. I've done research on it, and think it is a good choice for us. Plus, he will actually eat it without a fight - mostly. If you are comfortable with a food, and Baxter agrees, then go with what works for you. You will find as many opinions as you will food brands here; and as I've seen stated several times - there is NO one perfect food.
