My girl is recovering from leg surgery which means "no jumping" we had just bought an upscale puppy apt (really nice all wood corners) but the vet tech said it was too high (the surgeon thought it was fine)I made it smaller but I lined the bottom with furniture moving pads, then a bath matt with the rubber facing up then her bed and hung a water bottle so she couldnt step in water and get her bandage wet. I put hospital pee pad on one side with a disposable on top of it and I let her sleep in it at night. During the day I have her in a smaller crate so she cant jump around. I take her out and put her in the potty side every few hours to potty. She goes great (as long as I leave the room) She also has an e collar so I hold frozen kongs for her so she has something to do. Its a long process and somehow she pooped and peed on her pad last night but also got her bed really wet but not her blanket? totally perplexed by that one... |
