I have Carley, shes a gentle giant, even though shes only 50 lbs, thats 10 times the weight of Joey. She was in the house first though and I knew her personality before I even thought about bringing another dog in (especially a small dog). They get along great, but with any animals, you will have to supervise and just because of the size difference you may have a problem.
