Do not leave the dog with the child. You have to watch them constantly. My friend had the same problem. When she has the grandkids over, Max goes out in the backyard. He can come in but not be in the same room with the kids. Just don't trust him. You must protect those children. So sad to have to get rid of the dog. If you are very careful I think you can work this situation out. Get a fence and keep the dog away from the kids.
